I opened my State Farm Agency on April 1,1996 and have been proudly serving the great people of Jeffersontown and Louisville ever since. Prior to moving to Jeffersontown, I lived in Birmingham Alabama where I started my career as an Auto Underwriter with State Farm in 1990. I was born and raised in a small rural town called Granite Maryland, very much a Mayberry type town and still a hidden gem today. I still have many great friends and family in MD and am an avid Orioles and Ravens fan...yes Ravens and was a fan even before LJ8 became a Raven. I am the proud father of 4 young men, they are now all past their playing days but I was truly blessed to have them love and play my favorite sport (baseball). I am also blessed to be married my beautiful wife of over 31 years.

When not in my office helping the great people of the Louisville area, I enjoy coaching baseball and am an old school car guy who loves muscle cars. I have coached baseball for over 30 years and still love it. For 10 years now I have been the head baseball coach at CEC homeschool consortium here in Louisville. Cars have been a big part of my life since I was just a young teen. In 2017 my wife and I did a 2 week trip on RT 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica and back in our 1972 Pontiac Lemans convertible, a car I completely restored just prior to our trip...what a great memory! We hope to travel Rt 66 again someday. As of October 2023 and 6 longs trips later we have now driven our Lemans to all 48 continental states. What a beautiful country we live in, there is no better way to experience it all than from the seat of a muscle car.

I was the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce 2001 Chairman of the Board. I have been involved with Jeffersontown Youth Baseball as a member of the Board of Directors since 2004.
